Spend a Week in London Improving your Business English with Barbara Wilmot

Afternoon programme activities include:

  • Meetings with business professionals relevant to your area of interest, for example, HR consultants, lawyers, film makers, chefs etc.
  • Visits to the different museums and art galleries in London, including the Museum of London, the ever popular Churchill War Rooms and Tate Modern
  • Visits to outdoor areas of interest such as parks, wineries or sports events

By the end of an intensive five day programme of English training, Barbara’s clients are better able to:

  • Understand and correct their own language problems
  • Speak more naturally, with greater confidence and accuracy, using enhanced and more active vocabulary
  • Understand natural English as spoken by native speakers

Why not spend a week in west London with Barbara improving your English in the real world?

A one week course consists of five days’ of training, typically from Monday to Friday. Fees include all lunches but not any accommodation or travel costs.

Mornings are usually spent studying grammar, vocabulary, reading & speaking, from 9.15am - 12.30pm.  This includes a 15 minute coffee break.  Lunch is from 12.30pm – 1.30pm. Afternoon sessions are from 1.30pm – 4.30pm and are designed to offer active and wider listening and speaking activities outside the office, both professionally and socially.

Barbara believes it is important to have meetings and discussions with other native speakers to address the linguistic and cultural barriers that non-native speakers of English often encounter “in the real world”.    This is reflected in the programme agendas she develops for each client.

Barbara is also passionate and knowledgeable about British history and would be delighted to help you explore the history of London and surrounding areas.
